These narratives are my current and updated campaign issues & concerns:

*A Woman’s Right to Choose, and all other citizens’ rights!  We need someone in office that will sincerely fight for Pro Choice! Someone with knowledge of the issues and will fight for a Women’s Right to Choose, Veterans and Pro-Choice issues from the heart and without prejudice.

*The lack of oversight of the Forsyth County Education System. I plan to initiate legislation that will redirect the education lottery funding to adequately finance the entire school system. Education is very important and having the proper funding to properly finance the school system is paramount!

*Affordable housing, everyone deserves to have access to affordable housing. A part of the affordable housing problem is the minimum wage, which is not a livable wage, the minimum wage must be increased.

*Rescinding the “Right to Work Law” in North Carolina, I believe in unions and realize why unions was and is still needed in the work place dating back to the 1800’s when unions were first started.

*I will focus on the impact of North Carolina politicalizing the budget and not meeting the legal deadline for passing the budget. Legislators need to be more sensitive to the impact of and the financial burden and hardships that occurs when they do not meet their budgetary deadlines!

*I will be letting the taxpayers know that the North Carolina Lawmakers get free health care. The budget is not being passed, while most taxpayers are not have free health care. Tax payers are having to pay larger health care premiums because the legislators on the majority side will not pass the budget.

*I am concerned about the “Education Lottery Funding.”  If elected, I will work to pass legislation to redirect some of the “ear marked, School Construction” Lottery Funding, to include teachers’ salaries as well as the salary for all other staff members in the school system. In 2025, the North Carolina Education lottery generated $6.6 Billion in total ticker sales. Recently, teachers were fired in Forsyth County, because the money was not available to pay the teacher’s salary. We need proper oversight of our tax dollars at the County level and at the N.C. State Level.

*I realize that, the ruling party in Raleigh, N.C. has become too manipulative, too comfortable, too complacent and at ease with my opponent. The ruling party in Raleigh, N.C. must be presented with new blood, better challenges, stronger and more knowledgeable and convincing debates in order for us to pass legislation that represents our agenda.

*Some elected officials in Raleigh are too silent, and have become too comfortable with the “go along to get along” mentality, especially relating to Pro Choice! This campaign season more than ever, women and all other taxpayers need to trust and believe that positive change is coming. We need to deliver on that promise. We must be able to recognize elected officials who are truly representing us and those who are not and we must not be afraid to vote them out of office!

*Taxpayers need to know that some North Carolina Lawmakers get free health care. The budget is not being passed as legally required, while most taxpayers have to pay for their health care. Tax payers are having to pay larger health care premiums because the legislators on the majority side will not pass the budget.

*I would like to introduce initiatives to lower the property tax rates, with no property taxes for military veterans. Whenever the government needs money, they increase taxes. Tax increases are taking place too often!  A tax rate increase should be the last resort to finance the government’s expenses.  Better oversight of our tax dollars is definitely needed.
